Postcards from Europe X • A bunch of Australian skateboarders made the pilgrimage to Europe over the past few months, hitting the CPH Open, skating the wondrous spots and seeing the beautiful sights. We asked a handful of the Nike SB squad about their time away and copped some lovely responses - accompanied by their phone snapshots, and stunning skate photos from some of Europe's leading photographers. Enjoy the postcards from Europe, care of Noah Nayef, Jack O'Grady, Riley Pavey, Nick Boserio and Hayley Wilson.
rob pace Soty in the states • After he was crowned Slam Skater of the Year earlier this year, Rob Pace travelled to the United States fresh off leaving his long-time board sponsor and without too many concrete plans laid out. “You have to make it happen yourself”, he told me over the phone from California. “That's what I've learnt. You can't wait around for brands to do things for you.”
