In Abandoned, a dangerous mystery shows up in the most unlikely of places: the front page of the school newspaper. When a mysterious article claims that a baby was found in a dumpster sixteen years ago, Gavin Winslow, a reporter for the school, enlists Jennie to solve the mystery. The story immediately takes a strange turn when they find out the baby found so long ago is a classmate, Annie Phillips. As Jennie begins to uncover facts, the unanswered questions about the past grow more and more confusing.
